2024 Ford Escape

A silver 2024 Ford Escape Platinum is angled left.

Like the Ford brand, but don’t want a pickup or a car? Then check out the 2024 Ford Escape, the built tough SUV that’s ready to rescue you from a lackluster driving experience. The latest Escape comes in several different trim levels, including a plug-in hybrid option. With plenty of comfort and convenience features, a wealth of safety features, and customization options beyond what you’ve imagined, there’s a whole lot to like about the 2024 Ford Escape. It functions as a family vehicle or solo vehicle in both urban and suburban settings extremely well, particularly the PHEV model.

In fact, the Escape has won awards for its PHEV model – two just this year, the Best CPO Award and the Best Value In America Award, courtesy of Vincentric. If you’re buying new this year, you’re getting the best value, not only when you buy it but also when you sell it – the Best CPO (or Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle) Award is given to those vehicles with a high resale value. Ford’s reputation for building high-quality, reliable, award-winning vehicles is at an all-time high, which means it’s the best time to head to Faith’s Ford and buy your 2024 Ford Escape today!

Trims

A red 2024 Ford Escape ST-Line is shown from the side.

The 2024 Ford Escape has six trim levels to choose from – the Active, ST-Line, ST-Line Select, ST-Line Elite, Platinum, and, of course, the plug-in hybrid model. There’s something for everyone here, whether your main concern is the environment, mileage, powertrain, tech, or safety. Even the base trim level, or Active, has an impressive array of features, including a rotary gear shift dial – this not only makes switching gears easier but also allows more room for storage, as well as a few extra USB ports.

The ST-Line and ST-Line Select Trims

The ST-Line is a sportier version of the Active and, as such, comes with its own look, from its grille to badging to the 18” rock metallic-painted wheels. It also has a flat-bottomed steering wheel, a common sight among race cars. One step above the ST-Line is the ST-Line Select, the older sibling of an already impressive vehicle. It features LED reflector headlamps, and there is an option to include LED fog lights as well. It also comes with heated front seats, with the option of a 10-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support.

The ST-Line Elite, Platinum, and Plug-In Hybrid Trims

The oldest sibling of the ST-Line is the ST-Line Elite, a poised, sophisticated model with plenty of modern features, like the 2.0L EcoBoost engine with start/stop technology and the 360-degree camera with split-view for those moments when tight corners, other vehicles, and inclement weather make things difficult to see. The Platinum model comes with a universal garage door opener, a wireless charging pad, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, ambient lighting, and a 13.2-inch touchscreen infotainment center, perfect for those families that are always on the go. The PHEV Escape is a miracle of technology, from its hybrid powertrain to its connected navigation. You’ll get one year of connectivity, allowing you to utilize voice recognition and a head-up display to keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road.

Safety

A red 2024 Ford Escape is shown rounding a wet corner at night.

All six of the 2024 Ford Escape models have almost identical safety features, a relief for those who want the Active but don’t want to forgo important safety precautions. Ford’s safety system has an SOS alert built-in so that if an accident were to happen, the Post-Crash Alert System will let authorities know so they can respond quickly. The airbag system includes a Personal Safety System with dual-stage airbags for those in the driver and front passenger’s seats, and there are also driver knee bags, as well as the Safety Canopy System and side-impact airbags. While you will hopefully never need them, it is a welcome relief to know that should the unthinkable happen; your Escape is prepared to help you through the crisis.

The Ford Co-Pilot360 Suite

There’s also an AdvanceTec feature with Roll Stability Control, along with Torque Vectoring Control, a Rear View Camera, and Auto High-Beam Headlamps. Combined, these make for a careful, controlled drive through any type of weather or road you find yourself on. Ford’s standard safety suite, known as Co-Pilot360, contains dozens of helpful systems, like Automatic Emergency Braking, a Lane-Keeping System, BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross Traffic Alert, and Evasive Steering Assist to keep you cool and collected no matter the circumstances.

With the Ford Escape, Safety Is Standard

With a plethora of safety features available for every driver of every model, it’s no wonder that more and more people are turning to Ford vehicles. Who would you rather drive with – an outdated safety system with fewer airbags or features or something packed with safety features to ensure that everyone, inside or outside the vehicle, is kept safe at all times? This is just one of the many reasons that Ford vehicles have remained so popular throughout the years – Ford has worked to continually improve driver and passenger experiences.

Comfort & Convenience Features

This is where models veer away from each other and become their own unique vehicles. The Escape Active is outfitted with cloth front bucket seats, while the ST-Line comes with partial vinyl and cloth sport contour bucket seats, and the PHEV has heated seats. There are available options for some trim levels – for instance, the Active (base model) and PHEV (top model) both have the option to install a 10-way power driver seat. Higher trim levels can also be upholstered with leather-trimmed seats of a quilted design with mini-perforation for a more sophisticated look.

Connectivity

Music is shown playing on the infotainment screen in a 2024 Ford Escape.

The lower trim levels come with an 8-inch LCD touchscreen infotainment center, while the upper trim levels come with a 13.2” LCD touchscreen infotainment center, though the lower trim levels can be upgraded to have the 13.2” LCD touchscreen installed. They all come with SiriusXM 360L, and all are capable of utilizing Apple CarPlay or Android Auto for navigational and entertainment purposes. They also come with the FordPass Connect 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot so that you stay updated on everything from traffic patterns to your favorite podcast.

Additional Interior Enhancements

The steering wheel can be premium-wrapped, though if you decide to spring for a higher trim level, you’ll get a steering wheel that’s wrapped and heated. All trim levels come with audio steering wheel-mounted controls, as well as at least six speakers, and the option to upgrade to a Bang & Olufsen system, depending on your trim level. There are plentiful USB ports of various types throughout the cabin, so no one has to struggle to find a place to charge their phone or tablet. There are also multiple drive modes, a driver’s side footrest, a center floor console with an armrest, and a rear center fold-down armrest. Everything that goes into an Escape is there to do just that – help you escape into something more comfortable and more exciting.

Available Features

A phone is shown wirelessly charging in a 2024 Ford Escape.

The Escape also has some available features that will be of interest to drivers and passengers alike. Perhaps the feature that will garner the most interest is the Panoramic Vista Roof, which allows you to stargaze or sunbathe when the situation presents itself. It is an available feature across trim levels, so you don’t need to go with an upper-level trim if you’d prefer to keep it simple.

Wireless Charging

Wireless charging pads are also high on the list for many commuters, whether they’re charging their phone for a business call or a little one wants to watch an episode of their favorite show. It’s also helpful when you are trying to navigate with a phone that’s losing battery life or when you want to keep it charged but would also like to listen to the news, playlists, or audiobooks you’ve been meaning to finish.

The Optional Bang & Olufsen Sound System

If you want to improve sound quality so that you catch every note or every word from the program you’re listening to, you can add the available sound system feature, which equips your 2024 Ford Escape with ten speakers and a subwoofer from Bang & Olufsen. You can request this available feature for the Active, all the way up to the plug-in hybrid model.

The Faith's Automotive logo is shown.
